1. Who this policy is for

This policy describes the Android application Free PDF Reader (package name com.nikotek.pdfreader), also published in Turkish as Ücretsiz PDF (the “app”). It applies to every version distributed through Google Play or installed directly from an official build.

2. Data we collect

We do not collect any personal data. The app has no server, no user account, no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK. It does not request the Android INTERNET permission, so it cannot send your files or usage information anywhere.

The app does not collect, for example:

• names, email addresses, phone numbers or account identifiers;
• the contents, names, page counts or metadata of your PDF files;
• your location, contacts, calendar, photos, microphone or camera data;
• device identifiers, advertising identifiers or usage analytics;
• crash logs or diagnostics sent to us.

3. Files you choose to open

When you tap Open PDF, Android's Storage Access Framework lets you choose a document. The app receives temporary read access to that document and reads it locally so that it can display its pages. The document is processed only on your device and is never uploaded.

If a document provider cannot expose a file descriptor that the Android PDF renderer can use, the app may make a private temporary copy inside its own cache directory. This copy is used only for local rendering, is not readable by other apps, and is deleted when the document is closed or when Android clears the cache.

4. Saving and sharing

Save uses Android's ACTION_CREATE_DOCUMENT picker. You choose the destination folder and file name. The app writes a copy of the PDF to the location you selected; it does not modify the original file.

Share opens the Android share sheet only when you tap it. The app creates a temporary copy in its private cache and exposes it through a content:// URI with a temporary read grant for the app you choose. We do not know which app or contact you select, and we do not receive any information about the share. The temporary copy is removed the next time sharing is prepared; Android may also clear it at any time.

5. Permissions

The app requests no runtime permissions. In particular, it does not request internet access, broad storage access, location, contacts, camera or microphone access. File access happens only through the system document picker and through URIs that another app explicitly shares with you. AndroidX may include its internal, non-user-facing DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION; it is not a permission you are asked to grant and does not give access to personal data.

6. Data sharing and third parties

We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect it. The app contains no advertising, analytics, attribution, crash-reporting or social SDKs. Android system components (for example the document picker and the share sheet) are provided by your operating system and are governed by Google's applicable terms and privacy policy, not by this app.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain no data on any server. Temporary files created for opening or sharing are stored only in the app's private cache and are deleted when they are no longer needed, when the document is closed, or when you clear the app's cache/storage or uninstall the app. Files you explicitly saved through the system picker remain wherever you chose to save them; you can delete them with your file manager.

8. Security

Documents are read and rendered locally. Temporary files are kept in the app's sandboxed private storage. The app does not use file:// URIs for sharing; it uses content:// URIs with temporary read permission. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but because the app has no network access and no server, your documents are not exposed to us.

9. Children

The app is a general-purpose document viewer and is not directed to children under 13. Because it collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

If the app's behavior changes in a way that affects privacy, this policy will be updated before that version is published. The effective date at the top will change. Material changes will also be described in the Google Play release notes.

1. Bu politika kimler için

Bu politika, Android uygulaması Ücretsiz PDF (paket adı com.nikotek.pdfreader), İngilizce adıyla Free PDF Reader (“uygulama”) için geçerlidir. Google Play üzerinden veya resmî bir derlemeden yüklenen tüm sürümleri kapsar.

2. Topladığımız veriler

Hiçbir kişisel veri toplamıyoruz. Uygulamanın sunucusu, kullanıcı hesabı, reklam SDK'sı, analiz SDK'sı ve çökme raporlama SDK'sı yoktur. Android'in INTERNET iznini istemez; bu nedenle dosyalarınızı veya kullanım bilgilerinizi hiçbir yere gönderemez.

3. Açmayı seçtiğiniz dosyalar

PDF Aç düğmesine dokunduğunuzda Android'in Storage Access Framework (Depolama Erişim Çerçevesi) ekranından bir belge seçersiniz. Uygulama bu belgeye geçici okuma izni alır ve sayfalarını göstermek için belgeyi yalnızca cihazınızda işler. Belge hiçbir zaman yüklenmez.

Bir belge sağlayıcısı, Android PDF görüntüleyicisinin kullanabileceği bir dosya tanımlayıcısı sunamazsa uygulama kendi özel önbellek dizininde geçici bir kopya oluşturabilir. Bu kopya yalnızca yerel görüntüleme için kullanılır, diğer uygulamalar okuyamaz ve belge kapatıldığında veya Android önbelleği temizlediğinde silinir.

4. Kaydetme ve paylaşma

Kaydet, Android'in ACTION_CREATE_DOCUMENT seçicisini açar. Hedef klasörü ve dosya adını siz seçersiniz. Uygulama PDF'nin bir kopyasını seçtiğiniz konuma yazar; orijinal dosyayı değiştirmez.

Paylaş yalnızca siz dokunduğunuzda Android paylaşım menüsünü açar. Uygulama özel önbelleğinde geçici bir kopya oluşturur ve bunu content:// URI'siyle, seçtiğiniz uygulamaya geçici okuma izni vererek sunar. Hangi uygulamayı veya kişiyi seçtiğinizi bilmeyiz ve paylaşımla ilgili hiçbir bilgi almaya çalışmayız. Geçici kopya, paylaşım bir sonraki kez hazırlandığında silinir; Android istediği zaman da temizleyebilir.

5. İzinler

Uygulama hiçbir çalışma zamanı izni istemez. Özellikle internet erişimi, geniş depolama erişimi, konum, kişiler, kamera veya mikrofon izni istemez. Dosya erişimi yalnızca sistem belge seçicisi ve başka bir uygulamanın sizinle açıkça paylaştığı URI'ler üzerinden gerçekleşir. AndroidX kütüphanesi, kullanıcıya sorulmayan ve veri erişimi sağlamayan iç DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION iznini ekleyebilir.

6. Veri paylaşımı ve üçüncü taraflar

Veri toplamadığımız için üçüncü taraflarla veri paylaşmıyoruz. Uygulamada reklam, analiz, atıf, çökme raporlama veya sosyal medya SDK'sı yoktur. Android sistem bileşenleri (örneğin belge seçici ve paylaşım menüsü) işletim sisteminiz tarafından sağlanır ve bu uygulamanın değil, Google'ın geçerli koşulları ve gizlilik politikası kapsamındadır.

7. Saklama ve silme

Hiçbir sunucuda veri saklamıyoruz. Açma veya paylaşma için oluşturulan geçici dosyalar yalnızca uygulamanın özel önbelleğinde tutulur; artık gerekli olmadıklarında, belge kapatıldığında veya uygulamanın önbelleğini/depolamasını temizlediğinizde ya da uygulamayı kaldırdığınızda silinir. Sistem seçicisiyle açıkça kaydettiğiniz dosyalar seçtiğiniz konumda kalır; bunları dosya yöneticinizle silebilirsiniz.

8. Güvenlik

Belgeler yerel olarak okunur ve görüntülenir. Geçici dosyalar uygulamanın sandbox'lı özel depolamasında tutulur. Uygulama paylaşım için file:// URI'si kullanmaz; geçici okuma izinli content:// URI'si kullanır. Hiçbir saklama yöntemi kusursuz değildir; ancak uygulamanın ağ erişimi ve sunucusu olmadığı için belgeleriniz bize açık değildir.

9. Çocuklar

Uygulama genel amaçlı bir belge görüntüleyicidir ve 13 yaşından küçük çocuklara yönelik değildir. Kişisel veri toplamadığı için çocuklardan bilerek kişisel bilgi toplamaz.

10. Politikadaki değişiklikler

Uygulamanın gizliliği etkileyen davranışı değişirse bu politika, ilgili sürüm yayınlanmadan önce güncellenir. Üstteki yürürlük tarihi değişir. Önemli değişiklikler Google Play sürüm notlarında da açıklanır.
